Frequently Asked Questions

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please respond to our RSVP form by July 1, 2026.

Is there a wedding registry?

Yes, you can click here to view our registry.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The entire celebration will be held indoors. The church sanctuary is not air conditioned, so guests may wish to dress with the season’s temperatures in mind.

Is this wedding kid-friendly?

Our guest list is limited, so we’re only able to accommodate the names listed on each invitation.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests whose names are listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, you are welcome to bring a guest.

What about parking?

Parking will be available in the lot next to Fort Street Presbyterian for the ceremony. For the reception at The Colony Club, complimentary parking is available at Comerica Garage. A QR code for free parking access will be provided prior to the wedding day.

Are there accommodations near the venue or a hotel block available?

There are many accommodations available near our wedding events. While we have not reserved a hotel block, we have compiled a list of recommended hotels and lodging options on our Accommodations page for your convenience.

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us. Our photographer will capture the moment for us to share later.

How long is the ceremony expected to last?

Wedding ceremonies at Fort Street Presbyterian typically last between 30 and 45 minutes.

What menu options are available for guests with dietary restrictions?

We want everyone to enjoy the celebration! When you RSVP, please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
